Counseling Services for Children, and Adults
Caroline collaborates with schools, churches, and community organizations to provide grief education, staff consultation, and group support after a loss. Services may include trainings on children’s grief, debriefing for staff, or short‑term groups for students.
Grief & Loss Counseling
Individual grief counseling offers one‑on‑one support as you process the death of a loved one, anticipatory grief, divorce, health changes, or other significant losses. Sessions focus on helping you name what you’re feeling, understand common grief responses, and find ways to carry your loss with compassion for yourself.
Adults and children seeking a private space to explore their grief and how it affects daily life.
Trauma‑Informed Counseling
Trauma‑informed counseling provides support for experiences that feel overwhelming, frightening, or stuck in your body and mind. The work is paced carefully, with a focus on safety, grounding, and building skills before processing difficult memories.
People who have experienced traumatic loss, medical trauma, accidents, or other distressing events.
Children’s Grief Groups
Children’s grief groups give kids a chance to meet others their age who have experienced loss. Through art, play, movement, literature, and music, children can express feelings they may not yet have words for. Groups are structured, supportive, and developmentally tailored.
Elementary and middle‑school‑aged children who have lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, or other important person.
Parent Support
Parent support sessions help caregivers understand how grief may show up in children and how to respond. Together you can explore language for talking about death, how to handle questions, and ways to create routines and rituals that support healing at home.
